Parc national des Calanques

The highlight of our trip in France. It's a beautiful national park in southern France, located between Marseille and the small picturesque port town of Cassis which I also recommand visiting. In fact, it can be a starting point on your trip further up on the limestone cliffs. Port Miou, Port Pin and En Vau are some of the most popular calanques to hike onto, along the coast. The En Vau will take your breath away and it takes about 3 hours to reach to, starting from Cassis. You'll also find small pebble beaches on your route throughout the park, where to take a break and enjoy the nature surrounding you. There is no admission fee to enter this marvelous park, only the transportation to Cassis (starting point), depending on where you come from.
